Jack Rustle's new CD "Church Recordings II" was fully recorded by themselves, partially in a church in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. They have produced a quirky blend of indie sounds with a little help from local musicians (Pink Hay - notorious bluegrass-band-hopper and Ram - Montreal underground DJ) providing banjo, theremin, and scratching. While using samples, organs, and other electronic bleeps, the strength of Jack Rustle's music lies in the song writing that emerges from unusually open-tuned guitars.
